Seeded Crackers

These seeded crackers are packed with nutrition to feed and fuel your body. They provide anti-inflammatory properties and are perfect for lunch, a quick snack on the go or to munch on post-workout. Serve these crackers with homemade dip or pesto, smashed avocado and/or top with your favourite salad food. Wash it all down with a Water Kefir or Kombucha tea, and you’ve got a complete, balanced meal free from preservatives and processed ingredients. You’ll be surprised just how filling these are!

  1. Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees Celcius. Lay baking paper over a large oven tray
  2. IN A BOWL - Add Chia, Sunflower, Sesame or Hemp, Almond Meal & Linseeds. Mix together.
  3. IN A JUG - Add Water, Turmeric Powder, Seaweed Salt & Essential Oils. Stir until Salt has mostly dissolved.
  4. THIS IS IMPORTANT - Gradually add a little bit of liquid mixture to the seeded mixture. Stir until the liquid is absorbed, before adding a bit more liquid. Repeat until all the liquid has been added to the seeded mix.
  5. Let the moistened seeded mixture sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Place the mixture onto the tray. Using wet hands, press it out thinly and evenly over the whole tray.
  7. Cook for 25 minutes.
  8. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the crackers into desired shape/size. Flip each cracker on the tray and return to the oven for another 20 minutes.
  9. Allow the crackers to sit on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to completely cool. This will allow them to be crisp and crunchy.
  10. Store in a glass/BPA-free air-tight container for 7-10 days.
