You’ve just arrived in Bali, some of you for the first time. We want your stay at Floating Leaf Resort to be memorable. The experience is all about YOU. Start to unwind by enjoying a little pampering. This afternoon you are free to unpack and settle into to your room, explore the resort and its amazing facilities, enjoy a dip in the pool or relax with a cool drink and a good book.
Arrival times are flexible, but we recommend arriving at Floating Leaf Resort anywhere between 2pm-6pm on Sunday 30th September to fully embrace the welcome we have ready for you.

The Highlights

Charity Trek into Muntigunung Region of Bali (a remote area in North-East Bali)
We are so excited about the opportunity to give back to the local Muntigunung community on the North-East of Bali. Not only will we enjoy the challenge of our trek, we will capture the incredible scenery overlooking Mt Agung, the volcanic lakes and the Bali Sea before indulging in a well-earned tropical breakfast. Afterwards, we will head into the village with our local guide to witness all the good that the charity trek we are embarking on is able to create. We can guarantee that this act of giving will touch your hearts.

Balinese Water Blessing Ceremony
This is a temple visit and purification ceremony in Ubud (A beautiful local town, surrounded by rice paddies and known for its capturing arts and culture). Afterwards, we will be guided on a Painting Village Tour.
The Water Blessing Ceremony is a beautiful, gentle experience to simply let go of things that no longer serve you, wash away any negativity and emotionally reset for a new beginning. Get ready to set your positive intentions for the week.

Daily Sunrise Yoga Sessions (excluding the day of the Charity Trek) with Nadine
Start to develop a daily practice of yoga. It’s that easy! Make a decision to get on your mat each day and start to stretch and move your body. Join Nadine each morning on the roof top, open air studio overlooking the rice paddies. Reboot your body and invigorate your senses for a beautiful way to start your day.

Daily Wellness Group Mentoring with Chelsea
What does being “healthy” really mean? Health is something that can be different for each person and what works for one may not work for another. Join Chelsea as she presents information and interactive group mentoring sessions that will really challenge your thinking, understanding and knowledge about health. You will walk away feeling empowered to take control of your health and confident to make good decisions suitable for you and your family. Small changes really can make a BIG difference.

Daily Sunset Meditation Sessions with Nadine

Alternatively, please feel free to arrive in Bali on any day previous to this, seeking alternate accommodation elsewhere before making your way to Floating Leaf Resort on Sunday 30th September from 2pm-6pm or staying on longer after the retreat.

Secondary Teacher, Functional Nutrition Consultant, Nutrition & Healthy Lifestyle Mentor, Found of ‘Three Thousand Lemons’

Chelsea lives on the North-West Coast of Tasmania, Australia. She is married to Wayne and together with their 2 incredible teenagers they enjoy snow skiing in winter and surfing and SUP-ing in summer! Chelsea is a highly motivated and passionate high-school teacher and owner & founder of Three Thousand Lemons. Despite always trying to live a healthy lifestyle, she has endured a variety of health complications of her own over a 15 year period, including gluten intolerance, heavy metal poisoning and workplace burnout, broadening her understanding of mental health.

These experiences have motivated Chelsea to question the current health system and in some respects, take matters into her own hands by researching and questioning the reasons why she became sick, how she could support herself naturally and fully recover to live life abundantly.

Chelsea discovered the importance of good, quality wholefoods and nutrition, good gut health, a reduced toxic load and essential oils – all vital aspects to gaining full health. This personal experience resulted in Chelsea wanting to help others to also gain health, so she continued her education to become a Functional Nutritionist, sparking a new career path from teaching Health in Secondary Schools to living and teaching about the benefits of a Wellness Lifestyle for all.
She recently started her own business, parallel to teaching, called ‘Three Thousand Lemons’ offering anyone who is keen to learn about wellness the opportunity to access a variety of online courses, retreats and workshops. She also travels delivering public and workplace presentations (varying topics including ‘Introduction to Essential Oils’, ‘Essential Fitness’, ‘Stress in the Workplace’, ‘Reducing Your Toxic Load at Home and at Work’ and ‘The Importance of Nutrition & Understanding Vitalism’).

Chelsea is passionate about inspiring others to take control of their health and showing those who are willing how easy it can be to gain health by adopting this wellness lifestyle. She teaches about simple habits while keeping in the forefront of her mind that each person has individual needs and therefore give tips on how to identify what is right for them.

Aspects of her teachings and developing a wellness lifestyle include;

  • eating wholefoods to fuel and nourish your body
  • the importance of regular gentle movement, as opposed to hard-core exercise to maintain general fitness and well-being
  • reducing your toxic load at home
  • the importance of rest and how to manage stress in today’s world

Yoga and Meditation Retreat Leader

Drama and English Secondary Teacher, Yoga Instructor, Founder & Owner of ‘One Conscious Choice’ – (Yoga, Meditation and Essential Oils)

Nadine lives on the North-West Coast of Tasmania, Australia. Together with her husband and two teenage boys she enjoys the outdoors and travelling and experiencing new cultures. Her health journey started from one conscious choice, which led to another and another and before she knew it, she was on this health and wellness journey. Her paths crossed with some beautiful, amazing people, who inspired her to make a choice to be her true self and follow her dreams.

Her yoga teacher training opened up many doors for her. She trained in Bali with ITSA LIFE, specialising in Abode Yoga, which as a practice and form is not limited to one style of yoga. The style of yoga that Nadine teaches varies and caters for the individual needs of her students. Nadine’s yoga classes range from Hatha to Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga to Yin Yoga.

Nadine is a secondary Drama and English teacher. She has written and implemented a regular Yoga and Meditation program into the high school where her students are able to learn and benefit from this innovative subject. Nadine also travels to other schools in her local area to share in her expertise. She teaches yoga at her local gym and she also runs her own Yoga, Meditation and Essential Oils business called, ‘One Conscious Choice.’

As a retreat leader, she would love to reach out and share this way of living with you, inspiring you to lead a balanced, healthy and happy life. She truly believes that with a few small changes and by establishing consistent routines and healthy habits, we can all lead a lifestyle of good health, happiness and wellbeing. All it takes is ‘One Conscious Choice.’
